The C25 is our new performance synthesizer. Building on the expertise from the C15, it combines outstanding playability, an intuitive user interface and advanced signal processing.
The sound engine responds to every playing nuance with high expressiveness and has access to the huge preset library of the C15.
With the touring musician in mind, the C25 comes in a compact, lightweight and robust housing. Most of the components are manufactured in Europe with a passionate focus on durability and sustainability.
The C25 is designed to serve as a platform for future developments and will also support synthesis or effect engines from third-party developers. Therefore it remains adaptable and up-to-date in the long term.
The high-quality Fatar TP/8S keybed is combined with continuous sensors developed by Nonlinear Labs. The keys become polyphonic modulation sources, offering control by the vertical position of the key, its velocity or the aftertouch pressure.
The performance controllers include the Bender (known from the C15), the new Lever and two Ribbons with LED position indicators. Together with up to 4 pedals and 4 CV inputs they are freely assignable to macro controls for the modulation of parameters.
The encoder and LED-backlit buttons on the Edit Panel let you quickly navigate through the screen pages. A tag-based preset browser offers a convenient way to find, store or reorganize sounds.
The center of the new user interface is a bright 7" TFT screen. It provides all informations about presets and parameters in an easily accessible way, as well as enabling the visualization of functions and the signal flow. It supports touch input but there is always a hardware button for every function.
The sound engine parameters are mapped to six endless potentiometers each equipped with a touch sensor and a magnetic actor for haptic feedback. Their high resoluton allows direct and precise control of the parameters and the haptic feedback makes live tweaking even more easy and intuitive.
The 24 selection buttons provide quick access to all components of the synth engine by opening the corresponding parameter page on the screen. The button labels are printed on a replaceable overlay. This allows the user interface to be configured for different synth or effect engines.
