Scott Kinsey is an American keyboardist, composer, producer, and sound designer whose work bridges jazz, fusion, electronic music, and free improvisation. Best known for his years with Tribal Tech and collaborations with artists including Thundercat, Joe Zawinul, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Tim Lefebvre, Danny Carey, Hadrien Feraud, and many others, Scott has built a career around creating deeply expressive, forward-looking music.
In addition to his work as a recording and touring artist, Scott has contributed to numerous film and television soundtracks, including Ocean’s Eleven, Analyze That, and other major productions. An avid synthesist, Scott is passionate about exploring new forms of musical expression through innovative instruments.
The C15 has become a central part of his creative process, inspiring performances and compositions with its uniquely organic and responsive approach to sound. Based in Los Angeles, Scott continues to perform internationally, record new music, and present his ongoing Kinsey Sessions concert series while developing his latest solo projects.
